Brentford FC : Bryan Mbeumo named player of the month

The Cameroonian striker, who plays for the Bees in England, has been honoured his team’s player of the month for January, following a series of outstanding performances for the English club.

The year 2025 is off to a good start for the 25-year-old Cameroon international. In England, he claimed the golden award for best player of the month with Brentford. Bryan Mbeumo played a key role in Brentford’s victories this month, including scoring on 26 January, against Crystal Palace, helping the team to secure a 2-1 victory at Selhurst Park and boosting the Bee’s position in the league table.

But before his 14th goal of the season, he had already made a significant impact in Brentford’s. On Matchday 20 of the Premier League, he scored a brace in the team’s dominant 5-0 victory against Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium. On New Year’s Day, the fourth-highest scorer in the English top flight also scored against Arsenal on matchday 19. In total, Mbuemo alone has scored 4 goals for the Bees in the Premier League, not counting his contribution to other goals throughout the month.
