For those who missed this duel of legends, Lebledparle Sport gives you the chance to relive the highlights of this second-leg match between the former Indomitable Lions and the Brazilian legends. The stakes went beyond a simple gala match included in the festivities of the 3rd edition of the Plantain Banana Festival as both teams were determined to win this second leg after the 3-3 draw in the first match at Japoma in Douala.

The match heated up as early as the 4th minute, with Brazil opening the scoring through Michel Bastos. A few minutes later, Geovani Oliveira scored the second goal for the Brazilian legends, leaving Joseph Antoine Bell, coach of the Cameroonian legends, helpless.

Cameroon narrowed the gap in the 14th minute with a goal from Augustin Simo, a former Saint-Étienne player in Ligue 1 (2-1). With substitutions on both sides, this gala match turned into a true World Cup final. Vincent Ongandzi, who left the field after experiencing discomfort in the 64th minute, was replaced by Kwekeu, a legendary Cameroonian goalkeeper. Kwekeu managed to stop the bleeding that had started in the 4th minute as was instrumental in preventing Douglas Maicon, Michel Bastos, Alex Teles, and Sony Anderson from scoring a fourth goal, and could have been the man of the match.

Cameroon, however, managed to equalize towards the end of the second half with a goal by Jean II Makoun, bringing the score to 3-3.
