The Cameroonians won without difficulty at the Cairo Stadium in Egypt on Sunday in a match that was part of the first leg of the opening round of qualifiers for the Morocco 2025 World Cup. It was a fine start to the tournament for Cameroon, who are keen to make their presence felt in Morocco next October after their last appearance in the competition in 2018.

Morocco, the host of the 2030 Men’s World Cup, will also be the venue for Women’s U-17 World Cup scheduled to take place from 17 October to 8 November 2025. The Lions are determined to be among the 24 countries that will be in the Kingdom of Morocco.
