39th EMIA promotion : New officers admitted in the Armed force

As part of the triumph ceremony for the 39th promotion of the Combined Services Military Academy (EMIA) held on Friday, December 20, 2024, the Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces signed a decree officially admitting these officers into the Corps of active officers of the defense forces and their conferring ranks. Through this decree, President Paul Biya formalized the integration of these Cameroonian officers into the Armed Force.

Under the theme “Unity and Patriotism“, the 39th EMIA promotion celebrated its triumph on Friday, December 20, 2024. The event, held at the esplanade of the Headquarters Brigade, was presided over by the Minister delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defense, Joseph Beti Assomo, who acted as the personal representative of President Paul Biya.

Following three years of rigorous training, these young officers demonstrated their readiness to serve their nation. Their training program exposed them to intense physical and intellectual challenges, preparing them for the demands of a military career. Experiences such as forest and Sahelian zone exercises, advanced maneuvers, and mountain ascends fostered their teamwork and resilience.

A Message of Encouragement from the Head of State

During the ceremony, the Minister Delegate delivered the Head of State’s message to the new officers, emphasizing the values of honor, loyalty, and patriotism. President Paul Biya applauded their dedication and commitment to strengthening Cameroon’s Defense Forces.
