According to witnesses recounting the event to Teleasu, the expectant mother was on a walk with her father-in-law when she suddenly went into labor near the “Marché Mondial” section of Ndokoti. Unable to move further, concerned traders and shoppers quickly gathered around to assist.
Realizing the urgency of the situation, two individuals helped her to a more secluded spot while others rushed to provide essential supplies such as wrappers, compresses, baby diapers, scissors, alcohol, and Betadine. Nature was in her favour as a midwife happened to be present in the market and immediately took charge, ensuring a safe delivery.
The atmosphere was filled with joy and happiness as the healthy baby boy was welcomed into the world, surrounded by the cheers and prayers of the onlookers. Once the delivery was complete, the mother and her newborn were taken to the hospital for postnatal care.
Family members of the new mother expressed deep gratitude to the good Samaritans who stepped in to help. The miracle of childbirth was witnessed by many, serving as a reminder that in the face of certain situations, goodwill will always prevail.
