Ateba Gautier didn’t waste time delivering a stunning first-round knockout against Bolivia’s José Daniel Medina at UFC Fight night in Mexico City.

Cameroonian rising martial art star Ateba Gautier made a statement in his UFC debut, securing a highlight-reel first-round knockout victory over Bolivia’s José Daniel Medina at UFC Fight Night in Mexico City. The middleweight bout, which was held at the CDMX Arena on March 29, 2025, was a showcase of Gautier’s power and skill, as he stopped his opponent in devastating fashion.

At just 22 years of age, Gautier entered the fight with high expectations, possessing a very good professional record of six wins and one loss, with five of the victories coming by way of knockout. Fighting against veteran Medina with a career record of 17 wins, 12 losses, and one draw. Gautier proved he belonged on the big stage.
