“OFFICIAL: SAMUEL ETO’O WILL NOT BEGIN A MANDATE ON THE CAF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.
The application of our compatriot, current President of Fecafoot was rejected by the Governance Committee of the Confederation of African Football, following his multiple convictions including in Spain for TAX FRAUD, a serious violation of the Code of Ethics and recent suspension from stadiums by FIFA. Similarly, Jean Guy Blaise Mayolas, President of the Congolese Football Federation, was also rejected, while Célestin Yanindji, President of the Central African Football Federation, submitted his case after the deadline.
Only the file of Senator Seidou Mbombo Njoya, the current Vice-President, has been validated, and he is the only UNIFFACC candidate.
