The Ballon d’Or Camerounais 2024 ceremony is set for 28 February 2025 at the Palais des Congrès in Yaounde, as confirmed by the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) 17 February 2025 on its official website. In exactly 11 days, Cameroonians will be able to decide who will succeed Ricardo Emmanuel Mahop, winner of the previous edition in men’s football. To mark the occasion, Fecafoot has announced that a press conference will be held tomorrow, 18 February 2025, at its headquarters in Tsinga by 11am.
After a difficult season marked by several ups and downs, the Cameroon Football Federation, under the leadership of its president, has reaffirmed its commitment to celebrating Cameroonian football. The 2024 edition will bring new names to the spotlight at the Palais des Congrès in Yaounde, after Emmanuel Mahop in the men’s category and Gisèle Ngah Manga in the Guinness Super League in 2023. Fans of Cameroonian football will once again be celebrating the game with some distinguished guests on the evening of 28 February.
