Television cameras in hospitals: An attack on the dignity of carers and the sanctity of hospital premises, is the headline of Écho Santé. The President of Cameroon’s National Medical Association, Dr Rodolphe FONKOUA, has condemned the presence of television cameras in hospitals during administrative checks and unannounced visits by health authorities. Health professionals believe that this undermines people’s trust in healthcare providers and hospitals. They demand that the health authorities respect established procedures and guarantee the confidentiality of investigations and sanctions. Read more on page 6.
In todays edition, La Météo headlines, Logone-et-Chari: The people pledge to vote for Paul Biya.
