Death of Pelé: Paul Biya sends his condolences to Brazilian President Lula da Silva

President Paul Biya sent a message of condolence to his Brazilian counterpart Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva following the disappearance of Pelé.

Brazilian football legend King Pelé died Thursday, December 29 in Sao Paulo at the age of 82 following colon cancer. While the official funeral began on Monday with a 24-hour funeral vigil in Santos, Paul Biya sent a message of condolence to his Brazilian counterpart, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, invested on January 1, 2023.
For the Cameroonian president, the world of sport and the football galaxy have just lost one of the most emblematic legends. Paul Biya also hailed the exceptional career and impressive track record of Edson Arantes do Nascimento. King Pelé will be buried on Tuesday January 3 in the port city of Santos.
