Sunday’s defeat by Union Sportive de Douala at the Stade Annexe de la Réunification in Douala was the final straw for Ina Anthony Ngassa. According to Lebledparle Sport, the former coach of Dynamo Club de Douala was dismissed on Monday. While the reasons for the decision was not disclosed, Dynamo’s results in 10 MTN Elite One matches have been so far deemed unsatisfactory.
Apart from yesterday’s loss, the club has suffered three other defeats since the start of the season. In all, they have a total record of 3 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses, conceding 7 goals and scoring six. With these statistics, it leaves Dynamo ranked 9th after 10 matches. To avoid slipping into the red zone, Bon Ba Djob’s management have opted to reorganise the coaching staff. Pending the arrival of a new coach, Jean Pierre Muth, the coach who guided the club to the Elite One promotion, will act as interim coach.
