Official documents from the Cameroon Football Federation have been circulating online since yesterday. However, it is not yet possible to determine whether it is the Federation that has decided to shed light on its financial state or it was leaked. From the documents received by Lebledparle Sport, FECAFOOT has set its 2025 annual budget for 7.9 billion FCFA.
According to the document, four structures receive the most funding:
– The FECAFOOT President’s Office: it receives FCFA 2 billion for its operations and investments.
– Accounts and Finance Department (DCF): this department receives FCFA 1.5 billion for its operations.
– Human Resources Department (DRH): FCFA 1.1 billion.
– Football Development Department (DDF): CFAF 850 million.
Since these documents surfaced online, the public opinion in Cameroon has been divided. Some believe that the FECAFOOT president has decided to shed light on the financial state of the structure he has led since 2021. Others, however, believe that the Tsinga executive did not intend for these documents to be made available to the public.
