Fecafoot’s Ethics Committee suspends three club directors

The chairman of Dragon de Yaoundé and Renaissance de Ngoumou, alongside the chairman of the board of Aigle Royal du Mongo have been suspended from all football-related activities for 10 years and fined 10,000,000 FCFA each.

The Fecafoot ethics committee has suspended Kome Max (president of Dragon), Owona Alexandre Gaspard (Renaissance de Ngoumou) and Jean Adolphe Nseke (CEO of Aigle Royal du Moungo) for their involvement in clandestine meetings held without the knowledge of the Fecafoot Executive Committee. Found guilty of complicity in breaching the duty of loyalty, they have each been fined 10,000,000 FCFA.

The decision to suspend Kome Max, chairman of Yaoundé Dragon, and Owona Alexandre Gaspard of Ngoumou Renaissance FC for breaching their duty of loyalty under article 15 of the Code of Ethics, was published in a communiqué issued on March 14, by the Fecafoot Ethics Committee judgment chamber. Another person Nseke Adolphe has been suspended for complicity in violation.

According to the Fecafoot’s regulation, the suspended officials have ten days to formally request the written reasons for the decisions, in writing. Failure to do so within the stipulated period, the Fecafoot’s ruling will become final.
