Another case of femicide was recorded in the capital city of the country on Saturday. According to reports on Saturday night, around 11 p.m. Zambo allegedly killed his wife in a yet-to-be-determined manner and had rolled her body inside a mattress after committing the offence in an attempt to transport it to a mysterious destination on his motorbike. However, during transportation, the rolled-up body fell on the road and was a shock for good samaritans who had hurried to Zambo’s aid upon discovering what was inside the mattress.

The shocking discovery outraged them and the amassing crowd resorted to jungle justice. With sticks, stones, and other objects in hand, the crowd fell on the suspect and beat him ruthlessly before the security team intervened. Having attempted to hide his crime in the first instance, Zambo ended up confessing to have killed his wife and was transporting her body to be buried.
