There seem to be something in the air that is responsible for the increasing wave of domestic violence with both men and women killing their partners. Another tragedy occurred in the economic capital Douala, precisely in Pozam neighborhood during the night of Saturday February 15 to Sunday February 16. Kevin Omang, a 36-year-old man, met his end with a tragic stab wound from his partner Victoire, who fled from the scene immediately after the act.
According to Griote TV, Kelvin, residing in a separate room, managed to reach the main house and knocked on the door before collapsing. He was rushed to the hospital, but sadly, he succumbed to his injury. His aunt living in the same compound recounted the horrifying moment, “I was sleeping when I heard his voice. At first, I thought I was dreaming. He was saying, ‘auntie, she has killed me, save me!’” she shared. Upon opening the door, Kevin collapsed in front of her, bleeding profusely. Overwhelmed and traumatised, she called for help from the neighbors, who quickly mobilized to take him to the hospital. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, he didn’t make it.
Kevin was stabbed in the neck, a fatal wound that led to his untimely death. The shocking nature of this tragedy has left the neighborhood in disbelief and wondering what could have led the lady to commit such an act. The suspect is still on the run, but investigations are underway to ensure she is found.
