According to Griote TV, the incident took place during the night of March 1 to March 2, 2025, where a couple met their end in a well. Eyewitness reports indicate that the wife left home to attend a wedding ceremony without informing her husband. Upon her return, her husband questioned her about her prolonged absence, which led to a heated argument between the couple that turned physical.
The situation is said escalated when the woman, who is reportedly physically stronger than her husband, grabbed a machete and chased after him. In an attempt to escape, the man fled and hid beside a well, but unfortunately the wife caught up with him and both ended up in the well. Their lifeless bodies were later retrieved from the well, but had already crossed over.
This shocking event once more highlights the danger of condoning domestic violence and the need to not be afraid be it as a man or woman. It serves as a painful reminder of the saying “leave to live“.
