The world grows more scarier each day with atrocities committed that leaves ones mind perplexed at how wicked the heart of man is. The latest tragedy is the discovery of the mutilated body of a 36-month-old infant on 1st February 2025, just hours after he was declared missing and a search conducted. The people of Nkongamba in the Littoral region are still left bewildered, unable to erase the horrifying scene from their minds.
According to media sources, the 36 month old child was living with his grandfather in Cité de la paix neighbourhood who reported the infant missing on Friday 31st January. A launch party was organized to find him, but tragically, the three year old was found dead in a horrendous state inside an unfinished building. Initial findings at the scene indicated that the boy’s neck had been brutally severed and he was almost naked. Some sources suggest it may have been a ritual killing.
The boy’s body has been taken to the morgue and an investigation is underway to shed more light on the circumstances surrounding his murder .
This deplorable act has sent shockwaves through the community leaving many in fear with many demanding justice for the innocent child.
