A number of stadiums in Cameroon hosted to matches on matchday 11 of the country’s top flight championship this weekend. In all, six of the seven matches scheduled for Saturday and Sunday took place in different regions of the country. However, the 7th match between PWD of Bamenda and Fauve Azur of Yaounde at the Yong Francis Arena was disrupted due to gunshots in the vicinity. As a result, the match was interrupted and will certainly be rescheduled.
Despite this unfortunate incident, MTN Elite One has successfully played the majority of its matches, with provisional results favouring certain clubs, such as Colombe du Dja et Lobo, who maintained their first place following their 2-1 victory over AS Fortuna, bringing their total points to 24. They are closely followed by Gazelle FA of Garoua, who played a draw match 3-3 against Coton Sport of Garoua. In the mean time Union de Douala, Aigle Royal du Moungo, AS Fortuna de Mfou and Yong Sport Academy remain in the red zone.
