Dieudonné Nyemeck has passed away. The lifeless body of the principal of Nguelemendouka Bilingual High School was found hanging from a rope this Thursday morning in Minkan, in the Chapelle area, pointing to a possible suicide. In a letter addressed to his superiors that was found at the scene, the deceased outlined the reasons that may have led him to such a desperate act. Nyemeck detailed a burglary in his office during which materials meant for exam organization were stolen and subsequent legal proceedings related to this theft seems to have had a profound impact on the principal.
The weight of this case, combined with other challenges faced in the course of his duties, is believed to have ultimately overwhelmed him.
