Reported by Lebledparle sport on January 13, the move has now been confirmed. Ignatus Ganago has been signed on loan with an option to buy, but the condition for staying permanently in America will be that he plays 60% of his club’s league games. Should he meet the requirements this contract could run until 2029, a four years deal. With his new club, he will wear number 14.

At Nantes, the Cameroon international player struggled for regular playing time making 11 appearances in the 2024-2025 season and mostly as substitute. This lack of opportunities was no longer favourable for the former Lens player. This new move will certainly enable him to rediscover his sharpness and style of play, then above all return to his top form. With this new environment that will provide fresh challenges, he will be eager to prove himself on the MLS stage Ganago joins Eric Choupo-Moting and Nouhou Tolo in looking forward to the start of the new league season.
