Nchout Njoya Ajara is the most feared player in the Saudi Women Premier League this season. It is thanks to her that Al Qadsiah have the best attack in the league, boasting of 18 goals in 10 matches, a tally that increased on Saturday in the match against Al-Ittihad. The Indomitable Lionesses striker dominated their opponent with an impressive four goal performance. With this latest victory, Qadsiah climbs to 3rd place in the rankings.
Ajara and her teammates hosted Al-Ittihad Club on Matchday 10. The Cameroon international roared at the Qadsiah stadium, dismantling her opponent with an exceptional performance. The Indomitable Lionesses vice-captain opened the match in the 40th minute (1-0). It was in the second half that she completely overpowered Al-Ittihad Club by scoring her team’s second goal in the 59th minute before adding a hat-trick in the 75th minute (3-0). Although the opposition closed in at the 85th minute, Ajara took the opportunity during the additional time to score the team’s fourth goal (4-1).
This season, the Cameroonian has scored 21 goals in 12 matches in all competitions. Her technique and composure in front of goal make her the most feared striker in the league and if she continues at this rate, Ajara could end the season as top scorer with Al Qadsiah, whom she joined in January 2021.
