The town of Lomié in Cameroon’s East region has been rocked with shock by sex abuse of schoolchildren committed by a CE2 pupil, aged 11, who has been accused of raping three pupils from SIL.
According to Griote TV, the suspect took advantage of school dismissal hours to torment his victims. While the girls’ ages were not disclosed, medical examinations conducted at Lomié District Hospital today February 28, confirm that they lost their hymen, which is a sign of sexual abuse.
News of the incident brought widespread shock and anger, especially from the parents, who rushed to the scene of the incident calling for justice. To avoid any further acts of violence, the alleged child has been held in custody by the gendarme.
