A disturbing scandal has flared up Yaounde residents after a viral footage revealed a food vendor urinating in a pot of Okok. The footage led to the destruction of her shop that revealed another disturbing discovery.

Shock has rocked the Mvog-Ada neighbourhood of Yaounde after a viral video showed a local food vendor visibly urinating in a pot of Okok before stirring it. The disturbing footage, which surfaced on Monday 10 February, sparked anger amongst residents of the area, many of whom were her customers to destroy her restaurant.

According to Canal 2, the video was leaked after the lady’s phone was stolen. Another source reveals that during the destruction of the shop by the angry mob, a hidden carton of bottles containing urine was discovered.

The food vendor, who gained popularity after opening her shop last year, is currently on the run and the authorities are actively searching for her. In the meantime, some of her former customers have come forward, claiming that they often had stomach upsets after eating food from the lady, but they never understood the cause. This shocking and disturbing news has revealed to them the cause of their stomach ache.

The authorities are yet to officially comment on this incident, but this issue reignites the debate on food safety and the need for stricter health regulations in local restaurants. Investigations are ongoing and the public is awaiting further developments.
