With the rising cost of food items, many households find it difficult to afford basic foodstuffs, so this initiative aims to make it easier for Muslim faithful to access essential food items at reduced prices, ensuring a more affordable and peaceful Ramadan.The delegation has set up strategic sales points where consumers can purchase goods at lower prices, with dates and locations in Douala where these sales will go on. It was made known in a release issued yesterday and will run till March 29, 2025.
Muslim faithful and all residents are encouraged to visit these locations to purchase the essential food items they need at discounted prices during this Ramadan season.
