Cameroon’s U17 Indomitable Lions are playing for Nations Cup qualification in their category this Wednesday. Following their 9-0 victory over the Central African Republic in the first match of the UNIFFAC tournament in Douala, a win against Gabon today will seal their qualification for the CAN U17. A crucial match awaits Alioum Saidou’s team on 19 February at the Bependa annex stadium from 1pm. With their psychological advantage, Cameroon are well on the track to securing a ticket to Morocco for the tournament in April 2025. However, despite the advantage of playing at home and can count on their fans support as well as their performance, their opponents should not be underestimated.
